The problem appears to be a chrome/chromium issue. There was an outstanding bug that reportedly has been fixed. Possibly slimjet has not yet incorporated the bug fix?

OK, so it seems back to waiting.
I've tried re-installing Slimjet, restarting Linux, and still Amazon, my Bank and one of my e-mail accounts give me the same error, but Chrome, Pale Moon, Chromium and Firefox do not. (I just compared them all with amazon.ca)
Looking forward to an update with the fix - I actually like Slimjet so much more than other browsers that it annoys me to use other ones, proving once again, it is the little tweaks that make the difference for day-to-day use.

Linux Mint 17 user.
I can now pull up Yahoo and Amazon, however the "http" in the address line is crossed out and in red.
Went to Craigslist and all the photos have a thumbnail place marker in them ---meaning no photos.
Hope Slimjet fixes issue promptly. Other than too frequent revision changes, the pluses out weigh this inconvenience so far.
Will have to physically check for a new update version because I have the automatic update reminder set for every month.

Just installed the Slimjet 12.0.10.0 - problem persists. Did a restart of Linux Mint as well.
BTW, my Linux Mint is fully updated.

I have the same problem too.
The problem is on Mageia 5 and PCLinuxOS
Problems found with yahoo and some facebook games.

Use a different browser for the time being
I exported all of my pages from slimjet and imported into Chromium and I am back to normal

It is a bug symantec certificate in chromium 53.

I read all the links from the link you provided - so...what do we do to fix it? Seems like the cause is clear to those that understand these kind of things, but there is no obvious fix for Slimjet - or am I just stupidly missing something here?

UPDATE: 1/2/2016
Yahoo now working correctly.
Amazon ------No graphical or normal graphical web page./Non functioning similar to *Yahoo a couple of days ago.
Craigslist ---- Normal web page but no graphics (pictures).
*Might be a combination of site owner and Slimjet/Chrome site settings. Suspect problems lies with Slimjet/Chrome in that Amazon and others worked before.
