Maybe there's more interplay on facebook. I don't know, as I don't do facebook. The problem is that unless one can get peer help on a problem here, he is left hanging. That's a bad support model.

I'm not complaining. I realize that SJ is free, and I appreciate it for what it is - the best browser made. But the media problem is serious and seems to be getting worse. It's not just twitter, or even just video. https://www.cpnshows.com/shows/strangreport is an audio site that doesn't work. Can I continue to deploy a browser that doesn't handle media?

I've written before how great companies have gone down because they lost customer good will. Opera virtually chased their user base away. SJ deserves better.

There is no support from the Slimjet people on Facebook. None. Here is the deal. They need to stick closer to the current Chrome release and not get so far off the track so as to break stuff. A browser should be able to play all multimedia. Period.

I see that Slimjet 11.0.6 is out now and supposedly the Twitter video issue is fixed. I will update later today after work and check it out.

After update to Version 11.0.6.0 this video now plays....

Just updated to 11.0.6 and the video plays fine.

Thanks to Flashpeak and the developers.

So now another frustration that this new version has caused ! Facebook videos are now having the issue that I had before with local TV station videos ... normal video and delayed and very slow sound. I guess that I just can't win. It plays perfectly in Opera latest version.

I'm seeing no improvement in the twitter situation, and other sites may be worse, in terms of choppiness.

Well videos on Twitter are working for me and there is no choppiness at all. That would be caused by buffering I do believe. And not all videos on Facebook are messed up, just some.

So now the slow sound is on 90% of the videos I watch on Facebook. This is unacceptable.

In fact, it is now so bad that I am just going to put Slimjet on the back shelf once again and use Opera as my go to browser until this new video issue is fixed. I do tend to watch a lot of video's on Facebook , including replays of live events.
