Texstar reports that this second possible solution is working for 64 bit usersbarrycforever wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 9:31 amI tried to copy in the libffmpeg library and that didn't work, but I left that in.
As Texstar hinted at an issue with pulseaudioI finally got the following to work by bypassing pulseaudio and using ALSA directly!!:
pasuspender -- /usr/bin/flashpeak-slimjet --alsa-output-device=hw:1,0
This is very frustrating, but it's nice to get something to work on 32-bit Linux!

PS This was an Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS (from a Lubuntu Alternate ISO).

I put this libffmpeg.so in my /opt/slimjet folder
https://github.com/iteufel/nwjs-ffmpeg- ... ux-x64.zip
Then I symlinked as root
ln -fs /var/lib/dbus/machine-id /etc/machine-id
rebooted and got sound. I friend of mine did the same and did not get sound. Another user did the same as me and got sound. YMMV

I'm on Linux Mint 18, 32 bit. Just installed Slimjet version 22.0.4.0 & no sound, videos play, but without sound. Sound works fine on Firefox & Chromium and worked fine on previous Slimjet versions. I've tried various ffmpegs, even grabbed the chromium one, but no success. I'm stumped, any ideas?
Edit: A bug maybe? Slimjet won't open with some ffmpegs. With others it opens, but no sound.
