I'm using Version 21.0.7.0 x64 on Linux . I recently created a second user profile. I access it with the command switch, –-profile-directory=”Profile 1”. The original profile is accessed with, –-profile-directory=Default.
Except it doesn't work. I currently have to open Default, and from there switch to Profile 1. What's more, Profile 1 has all the tabs, bookmarks and extensions of Default. And while Profile 1 is open, I cannot open an instance of Default. And if I close P1 and then open Default, it has the window dimensions and tabs of P1. In short, the two profiles are sharing the same Default data.
This is bizarre because I have never signed into google with Profile 1. At one point I also deleted the P1 user profile to force a restart, but here I am anyway.
