Absolute clinchers:
* Lower memory consumption AND ability to automatically optimize memory usage
* Customization of cache size and location built-in to settings
* Highly compatible with Chrome extensions
Nice to have:
* Fast downloader
* Tab option: Convert to app window
* Easy video downloading
* Extra settings, many useful
Wishes:
* Option to not check if SlimJet is default browser (xdg-settings script which does this is slow)
* Sign-up to forum not rejecting email addresses from my own domains
* Busier forum
Currently they're in the title bar, which is a major hassle because when I mouse into the title bar, I trigger the hidden Dell Dock, which drops down and covers the tabs.

I've learned to not use any of the docking programs. Too annoying and they screw with my screen space. Not just Slimjet for this problems. Happens when using other programs too.

Mostly my replies are about Windows OS. If not I try to remember to specify Linux.

No sale here. I simply don't like functional buttons being hidden in the title bar. IE doesn't do it. Pale Moon doesn't do it. It's bad design. No thanks.

Maybe, maybe not. That is a subjective thing. I do think that It is a smart way to save some screen real estate.
I didn't like it when it first came out, it wasn't Slimjet, some other browser was using the title bar, but I got used to it when Slimjet came out. While I agree that it would be nice to be able to relocate the tabs, obviously it doesn't reach the level of deal breaker for me.
be safe

My wish/request would be the option to move the tabs to the bottom. It was one of the things I liked best 'bout the old Slim Browser back in the day. Before I switched to FF which had addons that allowed moving tab bar to the bottom ie: TabMixPlus....
Since bookmarks bar can be moved about why not the tab bar?
