Duplicating a tab. and its history, uses unnecessary resources when all one wants to do is keep the current page handy in another tab.
At the moment, when I want to duplicate only the page I'm on, I copy the url, open a new tab, then 'paste and go'.
A hot key to duplicate the current page (without history) in a background tab would be nice.
Thnx.
Feature Req. "Duplicate tab" (but not history for that tab).

Not a single hotkey but ^L^C^T^V[ENTER] works.

You can right click a tab and select Duplicate the current active tab
or
you can mash Ctrl+M to Duplicate the current active tab
