Hello -- I just started slimjet and I was prompted to apply any update -- when I did I then could not start the browser again
there seemed to be some issue with slimjet.exe -- as it turn out, malwarebytes had the file open -- is this a known issue?

Re: problem with update
If there were any positive hits on a new update this board would be slammed with posts about it. I've also run my SJ folder through my antivirus.
Making a guess. Malwarbytes was doing a preventive check on the new exe and hooked into it so that it could not be opened until it finished the check. The installer automatically tries to run the exe after installing the update. Probably got into competition with malwarebytes hook and malwarebytes locked it up as a means of protecting the system from a possible problem since it had not finished checking.
You can tell malwarebytes to back off the Slimjet.exe or you can do manual updates.

Nothing is 100% secure. You should still run a manual scan on your Slimjet folder and your Slimjet app data user folder from time to time.
