I will add that this build is stable and is exhibiting none of the issues that I had noticed recently in the 11.0.x.0 versions. Videos play fine in Facebook and Twitter and I have not seen any abnormal behavior when clicking on bookmarks in the bookmarks bar. I also have not see the "Restore Pages" box pop up as I was upon a fresh restart with the prior versions. I also see that in the html5 test site that the score has increased for me to 499.

No improvement on twitter videos here. Linux .deb x64. Slimjet on the right, Vivaldi on the left.

Unfortunately, Slimjet doesn't come with h264 codec for linux platform due to patent issues.

Yes. The Vivaldi crew had a user-implemented workaround for a while, involving downloading and installing the codecs into the V. folder. But it was complicated and only worked for certain versions. Evidently V now has secured rights to the codec, since the current version works fine.

It's good to know this isn't a problem on Windows. I wish there were some user remedy that could be applied for Linux.
