I don't really like the slimjet default theme as it reminds me of what browsers looked like in the 2003-2007 period. I was using Maxthon and firefox back then and they looked very similar to how slimjet-default looks now.
So, my suggestion is this:
When installing, have an option where the user can choose whether to launch Slimjet with Slimjet's proprietary theme, or with Google's new Material theme. Along with this, there should be screenshot previews of each theme, so that the user can make an informed decision before installing.
I think this might also increase the number of users as I could imagine that a few people would uninstall Slimjet when discovering what it looks like (especially after switching theme colors - it looks its' very best with the default turquoise design)
