include SJ to User-Agent-String ???

Post by Slim_is_phat »

The second last option on the settings list is to include SJ to User-Agent-String. On default it is off. What ist this, who should turn it on, and why?

The User Agent is a short string that web browsers and other applications send to identify themselves to web servers. Personally choice if you want your browser to be seen as slimjet (on setting) or chrome (off setting)..To me doesn't really matter what you have it set as it doesn't really make any difference to how the browser works. It use to be handy to spoof a web site that could only be seen in internet explorer but it doesn't work like that nowadays. you can see what it does here https://www.whatismybrowser.com/develop ... -agent=yes
