Hardware requirement?

I think this is my problem in trying to install Slimjet on older, xp computer. It's AMD Athlon 2200+ and maybe it lacks SSE2? I couldn't even use Portable Slimjet off flash drive on that computer.
I'm hoping for verification of this and perhaps a suggestion of an alternative browser that will work with XP sp3 and those pc hardware stats?
Unfortunately, when I tried Slimbrowser, it kept reverting to I.E. 8 and I never could find out how to make it workable! Please help and Thanks, Terri

AMD ATHLON 2200+ does NOT support SSE2 Instructions (only SSE as noted below).
