Slimjet version 4.0.11.0

Post by beast-usa »

Why?
Why is everyone always forcing everything to the far right?
Some of us still use computers because it's our job.

I really like Slimjet I install the 32 bit version on every low memory system I work on and the 64 bit on every system with 6+ gigs of ram.
But the newest release puts forward & backwards arrows, refresh on the LEFT of anything you add to customize the toolbar.
Home, Downloads, Trash, Print? Why would you guys change that?

What does google chrome release have to do with Slimjet changing the buttons?

I would never use Google Chrome the SLOWEST browser out there, just too much junk in the trunk. :)
Even after a instill IT run a benchmark I wipe my OS partition and restore a clean non-infected OS.
That's why I only benchmark it every couple months just so much work!

Well so far 13 of the 15 computers I upgraded to 4.0.11.0 want me to roll them back to 4.0.10.0 just because of the backwards menu. :(
I'm not upgrading anyone else to 4.0.11.0 :( I will wait and see if anyone is on this forum or what the next release looks like.

EDIT July 08 2015
GRRR I bunch of my people upgraded because of my post and are now asking me to roll the browsers back LOL

Your computers have a strong will!

But the current release is 4.0.12.0 .
(Don't know if this changes your issue.)

Thank you.

But the Customize Toolbar is still backwards :(

So I will add it to my sites with a warning about the loss of customizing the tool bar. And I will keep installing 4.0.10.0 on my customers computers :)
Now I have rolled back 32 computers because of that toolbar! So I will just keep them on 4.0.10.0 until the drag & drop is back I HOPE IT COMES BACK.
