The most recent Slimbrowser release was version 18 on Aug 31, 2023, wrapped around the Gecko vs 115 browser engine. Currently the Firefox I have installed (which also runs on Gecko) is at Gecko vs 136, so I make a wild guess and say at this point that it is not a priority for the developer to continue updating Slimbrowser. It may be safe to presume that he is probably not going to do so. That said, he does not make his coding To Do list public, and he very well could have a general Slimbrowser update sitting near the bottom of the list waiting for time to become available for the task.

Mostly my replies are about Windows OS. If not I try to remember to specify Linux.

Given the very delicate financial situation of Mozilla (which develops Firefox, the basis of Slimbrowser), I think (I'm not saying it's true) that Slimbrowser development has been put on hold.
