Omnibox search engine: 1st word is lost when pasting after hitting tab or space

Hi,

This bug appears to be happening from 37.0.1.0 upwards.

To reproduce the "bug" ?
1) In the Omnibox, I type my shortcut.
2) Then I hit either Space or Tab.
3) I then paste (Shift+Ins or Ctrl+v) one or more words from the clipboard
4) The 1st word of the pasted expression is missing!!

If I paste again, the 1st word appears.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

If I revert to 36.0.5.0 or a lower version, it is working correctly.
