Good. That will clear up the previous zero day exploit issue.

I see FTP support is being removed.
Shops that use a lot of FTP generally use a dedicated client for more control anyway.
It really isn't a good idea to use the browser for it.

This is what I've been using for FTP home use.

Is gopher support still an issue? :P

It is to assist in the transition from Quickfill to the built-in Chromium password manager. I would not describe it as a new feature, rather as a temporary assist.

Hello oftentired,

Have we a rough guesstimate yet as to when a final release of Slimjet 30.0.x.x might be available?

Thanks,

AJN

Nothing I've been told. Typically it depends on how many bug reports are being submitted as the Beta release has the purpose of reaching a wider number of computers to flush out any issues that didn't show up on the developers systems. I have not seen that many issues reported here on the forum, so I would guess we might see it released at the current beta version anytime now.

Thank you for your reply.

Meanwhile, I just came across this article about the release of Chrome v90, which includes further security enhancements, by Martin Brinkmann over at gHacks:

Cheers,
