¿what do you think: formal or colloquial use? more about translation to Spanish:
I found here that there are mixed modes of speak in the U.I. in the same moment: Formal mode and Informal mode (colloquial mode) E.I.: in the same menu of Settings> Help Center>menu... there are 2 mixed types of speaking in the same moment (plus the non personal mode: save, go to, print, etc.) I can see these 2 types of speaking in the same moment: Formal mode and informal mode or colloquial mode:
Settings> Help Center>menu...Formal mode: Dígaselo a un amigo ("tell a frend") and Encuentrenos en Facebook ("Find us on Facebook") and Informal mode colloq. : Dános tu opinión (misspelled in the U.I., correct is Danos tu opinión, without accent á) "give us your opinion" so you should choice what mode you will use... formal or colloquial:
translations will be.
Formal "Denos su opinión" vs. colloq.: "Danos tu opinión" for "give us your opinion"
Formal "Dígaselo a un amigo" Colloq.: "Díselo a un amigo" for "tell a frend" and Formal "Encuentrenos en Facebook" colloq.: Encontranos en Facebook ("Find us on Facebook")

Creo que debería ser constantemente formal, como en los negocios.
It should be consistently formal, as it would be for business.

coincido pero la mitad de los items en la interfase estan en modo informal y la otra mitad esta en formal...
tambien el estar en informal, lo hace mas cool, mas fresco un estilo joven... yo lo prefiero asi informal, pero lo formal pesa y es el estilo del resto de los browsers.... no sé.. veremos
