I consider these two absolutely essential for security.
The Slimjet built in ad blocker (which I disabled) is good enough, but I'm used to Ad Block Plus from before and like the ease of customizing.

YouTube NonStop

Stops the recent new YouTube feechur of stopping the music to ask if you're still there.

YouTube No Buffer

Make YouTube behave. No autoplay except in playlists. Or within playlist if you like.
Not entirely satisfactory, but seems the least worst of several similar I tried.

Remove clutter for readability. Only use it occasionally.
One of many similar extensions. I like this one because its presence in unobtrusive when you're not using it.

What the title says. Installed but disabled.

Recommend moving from adblock plus to ublock origin. Ublock Origin is the fastest, most efficient adblock period. Plus its just primarily 1 developer without the political issues with Adblock whitelisting that's shown up in the news.

Really not as all around adaptable, but it does just the bit I want with less overhead.

Got rid of Reader View and Don't add custom search engines.

Really totally suppresses that feature, not just set it to off.

I really like the Favicon Changer, but it's a resource hog. Still on probation.

Still fiddling around with Ublock Origin. Haven't decided yet.

I like the idea, but too much overhead by my standards.
