Slimjet newest beta UI is huge!

Post by SJ_Diamond »

Problem is, that after the update with the latest available beta the UI is of giant size. Slimjet seems not to respect the Windows checkbox to deactivate scaling at high system DPI!

Which means if someone has higher DPI settings, everyting, the UI, the fonts, the icons is of gigantic size.

Thanks!

Are you talking about the checkbox "Use Windows XP Style DPI Scaling"? That option is not intended to prevent DPI-Aware applications from scaling based on system dpi settings. It only disables XP style scaling on non-DPI-Aware applications.

Starting from Slimjet 1.2, Slimjet is now fully DPI-Aware and will scale automatically based on system dpi settings by default. If you want to disable dpi scaling, you can do a simple registry tweak by importing the following registry file:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FlashPeak\Slimjet\Profile]
"high-dpi-support"=dword:00000000
You can either create the key and value manually or save it to a .reg file and import it.

I think Chromes 37 build consumes more memory each tab, if thats what your refering to. And latest Slimjet is v1.2.3.0 stable
