PDF Reader

Post by pinsal57 »

I prefer my chosen PDF reader over the built in PDF reader in Slimjet. Disabling the plugin doesn't seem to stop Slimjet from opening the PDF. How can I hand over a PDF click to PDF XChange Viewer instead? Thanks.

Hello

• put this in your browser address bar, slimjet://plugins

• Click the Disable toggle just below "Chromium PDF Viewer", after that it should say "Enable", if it already is disabled it will show "Enable" and you won't see "Disable"

• Look then for your preferred PDF reader and toggle it to be enabled (it will say, "Disable" when it is enabled)

• In that same place where your preferred PDF reader is listed, check the box that allows the plugin to always run

Hi,

That works for me. However, now I am asked each time I want to open a PDF file to allow execution of the PDF XChange Viewer plugin. Is there a way to save this permission permanently?

Best regards
Oliver
