Post by WyleySam » Sun Jul 28, 2019 10:59 am

OK I need to changes the main font that SlimJet users.

For some reason after my install SlimJet is using a small script that I can't read.
I've been to Settings/Reset All options several time to no avail.
I've been to Settings/Customize fonts They are set to Times New Roman/Arial etc. Nothing strange.
I've uninstalled/reinstall several time.
I have deleted every folder/file the refers to SlimJet.
I have delete every mentioned of SlimJet for the registry.

Can't upload a pic. Currently have no way to give it an http address.

Appreciate any help in this matter.

I don't know what else to suggest to add to what you've already done in Slimjet font settings. You didn't mention the actual settings for font size that you've tried in Slimjet settings just the different fonts. Default font size is medium, have you tried the two larger selections?

This doesn't seem likely but have you double checked where your default zoom setting is at?

Also, your screen font or display size in your system settings can affect this as well. Perhaps an adjustment there?

I have done nothing except install SlimJet on my Window 10 new PC. I've made very few changes to Win 10 that shouldn't affect SlimJet (IE: Add context menu items to desktop)

I hope this helps.

That font shown doesn't come from any of the fonts selected in Slimjet settings. Looks like a system chosen font to me.

Your talking about fonts got me thinking. The font SlimJet is displaying looks like Old English and I did Install my Old English Font from Win 7.
I uninstalled SlimJet and My Old English Font and reinstalled SlimJet.

SlimJet is displaying the correct font.

Thank you for your help.

It turns out no matter what Old English Font I use (and I tried 5 of them) SlimJets font gets changed.
I my opinion this is a bug with SlimJet or my installation of Windows 10. I'm going with SlimJet
