Issues using a specific website.

Post by Tweakerz »

I guess as issue arise I will continue to post them looking for answers when I feel the community might be the best source of resolution.

I am unable to save a recipe on https://www.allrecipes.com and disabling the popup blocker does not seem to change that. Nothing happens when clicking Save. Normally a small window opens and you select the category to save the recipe and you're good but again nothing at all happens when using SJ browser. Hopefully, someone here also uses the site and has some suggestions. The site always works with MANY other web browsers but I'm hopeful it can work with Slimjet as well.

I save them at times locally as well. On that site, though you can keep an online database (free to signup and save) so it is accessible anywhere you have internet access. So saving locally isn't an issue but I'd also like to have it so it is always available whenever or wherever I am if I log in to the site.

I hoped disabling the adblocker would work as it worked for the Samsung site but that did not help in this instance.
(I also made sure NO extensions were turned on to eliminate any as a possible problem and that also did not help).

I tried it with my adblocker (ublock origin) on, no luck. Turned ublock off & it offered to save. Double check that your adblocker is off & try clearing your cache.

Oddly earlier without extensions enabled it failed but I decided to try it again (for about the fifth time) and it worked normally. Odd because no extensions, no adblocker (builtin) and even restarting the browser and none of those things worked. So really nothing has changed but I just went back and tried after a few hours and now it works... no cache cleared, no other changes other than removing and reinstalling 2 extensions. Since they were no enabled I don't know how they could have played a role but maybe somehow they did even when disabled...odd. Anyway, working so thanks to all.
