Search; sandboxing

I’ve just started using SlimJet. Some comments/questions.
1 SlimJet search produces a limited set of results. Also the search argument disappears when the results appear, preventing me from modifying it for another search.
2 When you say “robust sandboxed multi-process architecture”, does that mean that it will run under Sandboxie or that sandboxing is built-in automatically and therefore Sandboxie is unnecessary?
