I never tried actual chrome due to the google connections, so I was happy to find slimjet with most (all?) of the google data gathering removed.
I'm generally impressed (other than the twice a day crash on average, and it seems to use far less resources than safari on some sites [notably gmail]). Particularly useful is not having to run multiple instances to simultaneously use multiple profiles.
The preferences seem to suggest that it will be using OSX Keychain for storage, but that does not seem to be the case. While I believe I was offered a saved username or password exactly once, it seems to want me to create a chrome account to be able to save on google (instead of with Keychain).
Am I missing something here?
