What is easiest way to make keyword for url ?

Post by danielson »

Vivaldi has an easy 1,2 click to add keyword to any bookmark - right in url toolbar.
Firefox needs an extension to do that.
Chrome based browsers... well, it's a bit longer.
Anyone know of an extension or tip to do this in 1,2 clicks?

I'm not sure what you mean by keyword, is the keyword a shortcut where you can type the key word into the address bar instead of typing out the entire address?

You got it! ;)

The only i know of at present time, is to right-click in url box, edit search engines and fill in the blanks.
Sure, it's not the end of the world even if it does take that many clicks to do one.
Just wanting to know if there's any other that may be quicker.

Right click an open tab which is at the address you want to, "keyword", and select "Create Alias...", after you fill in the Alias you want to use and click OK you can type that Alias into the address and go to the webpage.
