Quickfill

Post by gfields12 »

Hi

I've been using Slimjet for a while and had been using Roboform as my password manager before. This worked quite well until recently (through no fault of Slimjet) so I'm starting to use Quickfill with the aim of replacing Roboform.
One concern I have is that unlike Roboform, password protected Quickfill never signs out between browser sessions or inactive time like Roboform does, allowing anyone who starts Slimjet with the user profile, or the portable version direct access to the password store.
Is there any setting to automatically sign off when the browser closes, or times out?

Thanks for a great browser

If you click the Quickfill icon and select more, there should be a menu item that says, "Sign off quickfill". That is supposed to sign off from the Master password and clear the cache holding the Master password for the browser session.

Hi

Thanks for that. I was hoping I could be signed off by default, but the whole chrome sign on is pretty insecure given that it doesn't sign out when SJ closes either so I guess it is consistent
