In the new tab home page, when the thumbnails are created, they show the ads, in the thumbnails. So obviously, the entire page, along with the ads are being downloaded.
If this is the case, then if a malware in the ads gets downloaded because of thumbnail creation, can it affect the computer? Should I just install a speed dial extension to be on the safe side?
