Cannot go higher than 360p without having force flash player ticked in settings or a youtube extension installed which forces the same action. Lack of html5 support I'm guessing.
V2 beta being used btw.

We haven't added h.264 support yet. We are working on getting the linux version out at the moment. After that, we will be able to focus on a solution for the h.264 codec.

hello,
sorry for my disturbing, but I really want to share something. YouTube will accept and properly handle most resolutions and formats, but if you want the best quality, sharpest picture, and no cropping, be sure to create your video in one of these resolutions:
Resolution Name
3840x2160 2160p
2560x1440 1440p
1920x1080 1080p
1280x720 720p
854x480 480p
640x360 360p
426x240 240p

so as you said that youtube cannot support 360P? I think maybe the fault of program, you can save youtube from this program http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/ti ... ideos.html it will even support 4K, 1080P videos. Cheers
