Youtube download not working in Ubuntu 16.04

It is not possible to download YouTube videos on Slimjet browser running on Lubuntu 16.04 or Xubuntu 16.04 or Ubuntu 16.04.
However it works without problem on Lubuntu 14.04 / Xubuntu 14.04 both 32 and 64 bit.
I get the download video button under the YouTube video in Lubuntu 14.04 or Xubuntu 14.04 or Ubuntu 14.04
But when I install Slimjet on Lubuntu 16.04 or Xubuntu 16.04 or Ubuntu 16.04 then I don't get the download video button below a YouTube video.

Is there something i am doing wrong? or is there something incompatible?

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my previous post.

On Windows and Ubuntu 14.04 (both 32 and 64 bit) the YouTube down loader button appears underneath the YouTube video, (as described on the website)
But on Ubuntu 16.04 (the very latest Ubuntu) this YouTube download button does not appear.

I have the same result with Slimjet Version 11.0.1.0 on Linux Mint Mate v18. No button at bottom of page and the blue down-arrow on the right of the address bar that says "download video on this page" when you mouse-over it, does not do anything when you click it.
