For what its worth I'm actually get a lot of this on https sites since the change to the chrome 50 build i get the site cannot be reached and i'm on windows 7. I did do a good clean out /refresh of the certificate's in Windows which did cure it for a time but i'm getting it more and more.

There is a default list of various SSL Certificates in all the modern browsers. Browser will go and verify SSL connection of the website with that list and if there is any mismatching, it will blow an error message. If you see an SSL error message, it means your Internet connection, or your computer, is stopping browser from loading the page securely. Reasons:

Wrong date and time
Antivirus block SSL Connection
Invalid Google chrome Cache and Cookies files
Expired SSL certificate
Firewall Error
Browser Error
