You folks had this fixed several builds ago, but it's been broken for several builds.

Hi,
The pop-up blocker works just fine for me, can you tell us where and when are you experiencing the issue? Slimjet version? OS?

Click the search field shown in the screen cap below:

This is just one example. I can think of a few dozen instances where other blink based browsers have no issue whatsoever.

I didn't get any pop-up by clicking in the search field, nor clicking on the links below the search form.
I've the built-in adblocker enabled.
I've tried disabling the adblocker and clicking in the search field. A new tab shows up "adcash" but all the other pop-ups are blocked. We can consider only this tab as a failure of the pop-up blocker

@dev: I've tried your link and I've clicked on Direct Download link. No pop-ups at all, only the turbocharged download manager shows up. Can you try to enable the built in adblocker and retry with these sites?

Its a on going bug has been for a while as is the bugged inbuilt adblocker just one of the many things that will get sorted over time

Devs - I figured out what's breaking the pop-up blocker! :D It's the "block cross-domain http referrer" option. If it's ticked, the pop-up blocker fails.

I don't see the search box besides a GO button when I opened the page you mentioned. But I did run into a popup when I click into a larger search box on the page. However, I got the same popup if I do the same thing in Chrome or Edge. Therefore, I'd call it a tricky popup technique. But I will see if I can do anything to block this kind of popup.

For http://avxhome.se/hraphile, the "block cross-domain http referrer" option doesn't seem to make any difference for me.

I got the same popup in both Slimjet and Chrome on this one.
However, the tricky part about this kind of popup is: the newly created popup window contains the desired content while the original tab is navigated to show the ad. If we block the popup, we block the desired content while the ad page stays. That's how it beats the traditional popup blocker.
