Uploaded local files are locked until SJ is closed

This is not a terribly big problem, but very often when I upload a file - say, a picture in a forum post, or a screenshot to userstyles.org - that file cannot be moved or deleted until SJ is closed. For some reason the file hooks are not being released. I noticed that when I attach a file to email (vivaldi.net mail) there is no problem

This may be a core chromium problem, not sure. If so it is long-standing: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issu ... ?id=128599

Seems to have been fixed in 4.10. But I didn't see it on the Change List.

This looks like a bug. But I tried it a few times and couldn't reproduce it. Are you using Photo Salon to process the photos? Have you enabled automatic photo shrinking on this domain?

Almost always I do use the photo shrink, as I find it very useful. I don't know what Photo Salon is.

Thanks,
Paul

If you select the "Process Photo" option in the open file dialog, you will see Photo Salon. But if you don't know what it is, I guess you have never used it. Anyway, I will look into the problem and see what I can find.

I do get weirdnesses like this on this system sometimes, so if no one else has this problem perhaps it belongs to the system. It's just that it's very consistent with SJ.
