95% of YouTube download does NOT work

Hello, I almost always encounter problems in trying to download YouTube videos with the built-in tool. It works neither in webm nor in mp4 format. The file that arrivs on my PC has an ending something with sjm-something. And the error message on downlad says something about mp3 conversion failed. Is there a way to fix that, please?
