Arbitrary inclusion of color inversion of tabs.
"Color inversion of web pages" Turns on without request.

On the pages that are not reversed, right click the invert icon, and see if there is selected a choice to not invert current site.

Checked.. not is selected.

and when you have an inverted tab active and you click the invert icon once, what happens then?

In "Incognito Mode" nothing happens.
In "incognito mode" "color inversion of web pages" is arbitrarily turned on on the chrome-extension://jinjaccalgkegednnccohejagnlnfdag/options/index.html and duckduckgo.com tabs
