Google Search results with coloured symbols?

Hello, I don't know whether that is a bug, but since yesterday in the list of search results in Google Search every result has a little coloured symbol in front of the first word of the headline. This wasn't that way until yesterday, and still isn't so in Pale Moon or Internet Explorer. Any idea what casuses this suddenly? Any way to get rid of that? It's irritating, because I am used to only ads coming with symbols not regular search results.
