[Fixed] Netflix

Post by EddiePadre »

Imposible to believe, Slimjet can not resolve the Neftflix bug in the recent last update. Can not connect to this site. Display a error code number. With Chrome and other browser, not problems to connect.

A few questions so people can help you out. Which version of slimjet and 32bit or 64bit? Which region of netflix ? Have you got the silverlight plugin installed?

This problem is a standard issue in this forums for months. I have silverlight installed,32bit versión,the last update versión. This uptade says that correct the problem, but that is not true.

So you are running the latest version (v2.1.6.0) of Slimjet, right? Which error code are you getting, is it "M7355-1203?"

That is the error, but this problem in part is by one plug in that in Google Chorme exists and the other browsers, but in the SlimJet is not available. (Other formus discussions)

Make sure you have widevinecdmadapter.dll
https://support.google.com/widevine/ans ... 2067?hl=en or copy and move from your google chrome to slimjet (usually found in your install directories)
Disable any extensions you have installed just in case its one of them causing the problem.
The main problem is that slimjet does not support h.264(html5) yet due to the patent and cost so they are working on pulling the codec through windows as firefox does.
Reinstall slimjet or repair registry settings (cog-settings scroll down)
Grab a user agent switcher extension off the chrome store just in case the "work around" in 2.16 is not working for you.
If all else fails just use a another browser to watch netflix.

......The main problem is that slimjet does not support h.264(html5) yet due to the patent and cost so they are working on pulling the codec through windows as firefox does.../////.For me this is the real problem with Neftflix. In this case there is nothing to do, only to see Netflix in other browsers. Not works for me the copy and paste dll as you suggest. Thanks anyway, for your excellent reaction to customers issues.

Well I'm a user like yourself so i know how frustrating it is when you have to swap browsers just to do one thing, for me the ability to watch 60fps videos on youtube causes me to swap browsers.
Hopefully a another user might have a solution.

My friend, another thing, please excuse my English, I am here in Puerto Rico. My write English is not good , I understand good reading. My language is Spanish. Another point, Comodo Dragon, another Chrome alternative plays Neftlix without problems, is a great alternative, especially the security sections, but runs two or three back in the updates versions of Chrome, but plays Neftflix. I since that all versions in the Web for Chrome, Slimjet only have this problem with Neftflix.

Slimjet is an excellent alternative of the Chrome Browser but need to resolve this problem in the future. To much people uses Neftflix.
