Playing IMDB videos fails with Canvas Rendering message

This may be related to bug reports about playing videos producing an "Aw, Snap" error ("Aw Snap," btw, is a terrible error message; sounds sarcastic.)
When I try to play a trailer on IMDB, I get this message:

Failed to execute 'getImageData' on 'CanvasRenderingContext2D':
The canvas has been tainted by cross-origin data.

It makes no sense to me. What is "cross-origin data?"

ronwhite go to Settings -> Advance Settings and locate "Disable reading from HTML5 canvas" .You can either turn it off( not recommended) or you'll see next to it button "EXCEPTIONS..." ,click on it and add imdb.com and you are all set.
