Yes, Flash is still broken with 19.0.4. No problem with chrome and other browsers.
Windows 7 x64, latest Slimjet x64, "strict site isolation" flag is enabled

I'll wait until the update version uses Chromium 67, that maybe 20.x.x.x.
"Abandon hope all ye who enter here"

[Slimjet 20 beta]

20.0.1.0 has the same issue.
Maybe it's time to abandon slimjet

Unfortunately, so far we have not been able to reproduce this issue on our side. Something worth trying: Remove the folder %AppData%\..\local\slimjet\User Data\PepperFlash . Then install flash again by visiting chrome://components and click "Check Update" under flash player section to install flash again.

A more aggressive thing to try is to rename the entire application data folder %AppData%\..\local\slimjet to %AppData%\..\local\slimjet.bak and then let Slimjet start completely fresh and See if that solves the problem. You can always rename it back to get back to your original data or sign into your Google account to sync the data back.

If anyone is willing to have a remote debugging session with me over teamviewer, please let me know. Maybe that'll make it easier to debug the root cause of the problem.

With SJ portable there's no such a directory.
Deleting X:\Slimjet\User Data\PepperFlash doesn't help.

I decided to do that and it worked.
So now I had a folder with a working and a not working flash.
By copy and trial I finally figured out the culprit is %AppData%\Local\Slimjet\User Data\Default\Preferences
When you delete this file, it works again and as far as I can see, you don't loose much; my extensions, bookmarks and stored passwords were still there.

Hallelujah!!

EDIT: This reminded me of my monologue where this file was also the culprit

Yep!
Will take some time to spot the actual troublemaker in the settings. :-)

I am glad to hear that the problem is fixed. There is a [reset settings] button in the settings page. Maybe that will fix the problem as well. That should be easier than deleting the preference file.

Now I am curious what goes wrong in the old preference file. If you still have that old preference in your recycle bin, please email that to us at support at flashpeak.com for debugging.
