Slimjet preventing STANDBY or sleep in XP

I don't know for sure, but initially when I installed slimjet i don't THINK it was preventing my PC from going to standby mode, but NOW that I've had it for a few months, it is DEFINITELY preventing my PC from going to standby!! I've tried it SEVERAL TIMES now, if I open slimjet and don't do anything, don't browse or use it, it will still go to standby, but when I use it for awhile it PREVENTS MY PC FROM SLEEPING!!! As soon as I close Slimjet then it goes to sleep or standby mode in 2 minutes just fine, it's definitely SLIMJET after I've used it that's keeping it from SLEEPING!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!
