I've had a slingbox for a while (pro-hd) and can watch the tv in my house anywhere in the world. There is an app (altho not a good one) for it.
So all along it's worked ok. At one point an update was done where many users (including me) could not get the app to run (for me, on Slimjet). Then later on, a new version of the app seemed to fix it for many but not all. I was now working ok.
Once Slimjet updated to Version 16 (based on Chrome 61.xxx), my app stopped working gain!
It continuously loops to install the app over and over, although installed....same version!
So, went to the old default...use IE11 for the sling and it works fine for IE (different web app).
So I wasn't sure.....then found another browser and it was based on 62.xxx (called CentBrowser). Very similar to Slimjet.
On Cent, the app works fine!
So it seems the only difference may be the Chrome base version?
Will see.
Wanted to report, see if anyone else has same...and maybe find out when a Slimjet update will hit 62 or better so I can test!!
