Blank tab with 14.0.2.0 - RESOLVED with 14.0.5.0 THANKS

14.0.2.0 opens a blank 'tab' for me when starting, even though I have a 'start page' set in the Settings. I tried changing the 'start' page, and still get a blank tab!
I to am stuck on 13.0.9.0 until it is either fixed or forever if it is not fixed!

OK, I found that there is a 14.0.3.0 that indicates it 'fixed' a problem with the startup page.
What follows is from the 'What's New' page.

DID NOT work for me, still opens a blank tab whether in incognito or regular mode.
So back to 13.0.9.0 until fixed or forever if not fixed.

The 14.0.4.0 version does the same thing!

Looks like I will be stuck on 13.0.9.0 UNTIL OR IF gets fixed!
I suppose trying a new profile is in order, but it pisses me off having to do that because the Google dev folks make bad releases.

NOPE! making a new profile still opened a blank window telling me I 'am in incognito' mode.

version 14.0.5.0 took care of this quite well!
DUMB idea of the chromium devs to 'insist' we start an incognito session with a blank tab!
WTF do they think we would do with a blank incognito tab besides open the same damned page we have in the settings as the HOME start page!
