SlimJet will not open,
but it keeps running in background.

I have to log out of windows and log back into windows,
before i can launch slimjet.

The background processes prevent slimjet from opening.

How can i stop SlimJet running in background after i close it?

i have SlimJet set to NOT continue running when close browser.
This has worked great up to now.
But now, SlimJet is remaining open in the background.
How can i stop this?
i disabled all extensions, but that did not fix it.

solved.

the cause seems to be using a switch to change the profile directory:

"D:\Program Files (x86)\Slimjet\slimjet.exe" --user-data-dir="D:\Users\Baby Burrito\AppData\Local\SlimJet\User Data"

note, slimjet is installed to removable drive D (an SD).

seems to be a bug. Not sure if the issue is the switch, or the removable drive.

when i remove the switch, background processes terminated properly.
