Slimjet on Puppy Linux

Post by OscarTalks »

Running Slimjet on various Puppy Linux distros.
Many thanks to FlashPeak for all the hard work.

The download page is showing the Linux version as 7.0.1.0 but when downloaded (as 32bit .deb or tarball) and run it shows as still being 7.0.0.0
EDIT:- Tried again later and version number is now showing as correct.

Does the Java and Silverlight support apply to the Linux builds?

In the PepperFlash sub-directory the manifest.json file still shows the version number as 20.0.0.228 but the plugin seems to be reported as being the latest 20.0.0.267
EDIT:- Looks like the latest PepperFlash library may be downloaded as an automatic update as it seems to be in the profile/data directory. Perhaps this one loads in preference to the one in the slimjet directory ?

hi oscar:

Do you know how to make puppy linux charge automaticaly different tabs at the same time the first time they are selected.
That is, I started my browser, opened ten tabs but then dont charge automaticaly, only when I click on them.

Iḿ using puppy tahr linux, and with versión slimjet 6.0.8 I haven't got any problem but with 12.0.9.0 it doesn t work as I want (auto charge)

THANKS IN ADVANCE
