do you have a site or a few where I can test? I normally don't watch video per se (occasionally, but I think most is flash)...Then I can confirm for you! Thanks...

I found this test page http://ie.microsoft.com/TestDrive/Graph ... fault.html that tell me I can't view h264 content with my browser

Another problem of this plugin is that I can't download same video with any media grabber, but I can do it with Chrome.
So a native implementation of this codec should be a better solution.
Please add it to Slimjet

maybe because it's IE and not a Chrome page?

no, I take that back. I checked it with 360Chrome and it worked fine in all tests in Chrome mode...(that was one that I mentioned has native support already).

Hi fashpeak,
Since many chromium based browser support h264 codec I suggest you to add compatibility for that codec without include it in Slimjet, so we can copy h264 dll from that browser to Slimjet folder

When the time permits, we will try calling the codecs available in Windows 7.
Meanwhile, it is not that bad at the moment since most sites use flash player to streaming mp4 video. Youtube is a big exception but we solve the problem by forcing flash player on it for the moment. Youtube is also moving in the direction of encoding all their videos in VP9.

Sorry. I can't put a date on this one right now. It's a small development team here and adding the codec support is not a trivial item. We have to prioritize items to do based on implementation efforts and user's demand. Adding H.264 support is requested by very few people at this point.
