Still 481 using 6.0 beta version. Not sure if it's because of a conflict with some of the other browsers I have installed (Torch, Chrome, Yandex, Comodo Dragon, Chromodo) or some Windows settings I have.

I get 521 in Linux x64 xubuntu, 526 in Windows 8 x64 not 8.junk, 8.junk & Windows spyware 10 x64 521

Exactly.
Try to run this test on a VM (or pc) with another Win OS and you'll see the difference

Also, the score will be slightly higher if you allow HTML5 reading in the Settings under the Security section. My XP laptop is also scoring lower than Linux and Win 7+ boxes.

Actually it's not, because Chrome scores much higher on the same box.

But I found the problem (thanks oftentired). I disabled reading from HTML5 canavas. After re-enabling it, I got a nice 501.

I get 506 with Slimjet 5.0.16.0 and 521 with Vivaldi 1.0.303 beta.

I got 521 with SJ 6.0.2.0 (linux 32-bit) on Ubuntu 15.10.
