Why Slimjet scores so low in html5 test?

Post by mixLotus » Sat Nov 07, 2015 10:33 am

I updated Slimjet to the last version and tested it on html5test.com.

It scores only 481 out of 555 points. The last Chrome version scores 521 points.

Why this big difference?

PS: Taking a closer look at the results, I see Slimjet is lagging behind on graphics and P2P support.

I too have 468 with Firefox.

By the way, I am operating a Windows XP SP3 machine.

Slimjet: Version 5.0.16.0 (based on Chromium 44.0.2403.130)

Here is my result:

The site records my Slimjet browser as Chrome 44.

yeah i've have no problems just back up your user data folder in case of any problems. Beta seems and feels a bit quicker than the stable version

I have to agree, Dev. Right off the bat it was noticeably faster. And it looks like my hardware acceleration problem on Linux is finally put to rest. YEA!
