I just installed Ubuntu 15.10 on my pc. Also installed Slimjet 5.0.15.0 on Ubuntu.
When I try Youtube the video stays black, the sound is fine, and then it crashes.
Youtube runs fine on Firefox on Ubuntu.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this on Slimjet? Thanks!!

In Settings, try turning off "Force flash" and Hardware Acceleration.

Excellent. Had same problem here, on LinuxLite x64, a ubuntu derivative.

To be more specific, this is what's working:

OFF Force the use of flash player on youtube

ON Use hardware acceleration when available

Interesting. With me it's acceleration that's the problem. I have an nVidia graphics card and I use their drivers.

Changing either of those settings does not fix it for me. Any other ideas? I'm using Slimjet Version 11.0.1.0 on Linux Mint Mate v18 (which is Ubuntu 16.04 LTS based).
