Slimjet 1.1.0.0 Beta

Noticed it was just released and installed it. So far so good. Comment:

1. Scroll tabs:
(a) Works fine only in on a tab. If using scroll on the tab line (let's say to the right side if the tabs, but still in the tab row), it does not work. Please allow it to work anywhere in the tab row.
(b) Please allow it to be recursive as an option. This means when at the last tab on the right, scrolling will wrap it around to the first tab on the ledt. And if on the first tab, it should be able to wrap to the last tab.

2. Still hope you will consider a right click close tab as an option (then the control right click would show the context menu)!

Will keep testing but so far good for me! Thank you.

How does one shut off the scroll in Slimjet? I've been using a program that allows for tab scroll with the behaviour I mentioned in the above post and also allows for right click.

But the built in scroll is interfering with it and I can not find a setting to turn it off in Slimjet.

We will add an option for it and will allow for cyclic scrolling.

That will be great to add the option and to allow cyclic scrolling...hoping also for the sense anywhere in the tab row too. Thank you!

Alert to those that try 1.1.0.0 and decide to go back to previous version. There is a conflict in the profiles going back to earlier version from the new beta (I went back for now because of the scroll interference as noted in one of my posts). I uninstalled the 1.1.0.0 version, then reinstalled 1.0.17.0 and then got 5 error boxes mentioning can't use old profile since it was upgraded to new profile [in so many words]. Tried a few things and no luck, so I had to recreate the whole from scratch. Fortunately, at least some things were remembered once installed all extensions, etc...most was OK.

You are right. That's a pain inherited from the Chrome side. The Google developers never assume you would downgrade their browser software. So they make the profile versioned in a way that's not backward compatible.

So you can't really go backward every time when we migrate to a newer version of the Chromium code base. If you do put back an old version, you have to blow away your profile folder and recreate it from scratch. If you are using google account to sync your data, you can easily sync everything back except for the QuickFill forms. For the QuickFill forms, you should back them up first and copy them back into the new profile.
