Link for those that can't be bothered to read :) https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/relea ... .9.3-dev.6

You also noticed this handy link for filter lists https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/ ... nd-the-web

just a quick note because its not a direct upgrade it will reset to the default lists so back up your file then export to the new build.

Works for me, don't forget it only stops your local ip from leaking behind your vpn it doesn't stop your public ip from showing.

Is that behind a vpn/proxy tho ?

If you use http://whoer.net/extended your ip can be obtained through flash as well even behind a vpn.

Zenmate is known for leaking ip addresses through webrtc and flash (tho a work around is there https://support.zenmate.com/hc/en-us/ar ... or-WebRTC- ) that's why your public ip is showing on whoer etc, first thing to do is to buy a decent vpn provider then disable java, set flash to click to play(slimjet://settings/content plugins Let me choose when to run plugin content) then disable webrtc either through a extension or the inbuilt setting in slimjet. Do similar in any other browsers you have installed on your system as sites such as whoer etc will pick up details of whats what even if your not using them to browse their pages.

I use torguard https://torguard.net/ if i need to be anonymous it has no leaks through flash, java, webrtc, canvas etc. Most of these proxy extensions off the chrome store are weak sauce, they have to comply to certain rules just to be on the store for one which allows for abuse to happen just look at hola it was storing people's details and selling them on.
As to the topic/article ublock origin does now block your local ip addy from leaking. https://diafygi.github.io/webrtc-ips/
