To stop videos from autoplaying when a web site is loaded, the advice for Chrome browsers is to change a plug-in content setting. The options are not quite the same in Slimjet but there is an equivalent, which is 'let me choose when to run plug-in content'.
This seems to work on some sites, but on others right-clicking does nothing and the video cannot be played at all. One example is fox.com. I would like to disable the autoplay feature but I also want to be able to play the content when I choose. The only way I can do this at the moment is to change the plug-in content in Settings back to 'run all plug-in content' . Is there no better solution for this?

Re: Preventing autoplaying videos
Let's make this a more noticeable Feature Request and see if the developers can find a way to do it.

It does seem auto play on html5 videos can be a pain, i know you can stop youtube html5 and flash videos from auto playing by using magic actions for youtube off the chrome store.
It seems firefox have heard the message too http://www.ghacks.net/2015/06/11/finall ... o-firefox/
