Missing scrollbar

No sooner than I requested a wider scrollbar than the scrollbar goes missing!

On some sites, starting yesterday, the vertical scrollbar is absent. One such site is http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/201 ... -for-earth.

I checked with other browsers and it's there. It's there on another Slimjet profile, but not on my main profile.

I've cleared cache. My scrollbar "Flags" are set to default or the safest setting. I turned off user style sheets. I updated to 4.0.6. Still nothing.

I'd like to solve this without deleting this profile if possible. Any ideas would be appreciated.

A ha. I should have suspected an extension. I added Win7 Scrollbars last week, and that made the difference. Since the extension doesn't afford widening the scrollbars, no use to keep it. Problem solved!

I wouldn't have noticed as i'm on a desktop a lot of the time so thanks for pointing that out for when i jump on a laptop.

tower, mouse and scroll wheel(i use one of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004 ... e=&seller= ) no need for scroll bars. Laptop mouse pad/touch pad without any two finger gestures etc need scroll bars.

I see. I have the wheel set to full screen increments, so the scrollbar is still needed when I have to adjust. Will hold onto WizMouse for when it is necessary. Some drivers have that capability built in, but I'm running my logitech wireless mouse with Win7 drivers to keep things light.
